LMI Technologies is a proud member of the TKH group—an internationally operating, innovative technology company with its registered office in the Netherlands. As part of the TKH group, LMI Technologies is focused on the design, development, and delivery of smart 3D technologies. Since 1998, LMI Technologies has worked to advance 3D smart sensor technology for fast and accurate measurement. Our flagship Gocator and FocalSpec product lines help factories achieve 100% inspection, reduce waste by optimization, and improve efficiency by simplifying automation. Trusted in the most challenging applications, our 3D solutions help customers improve control of their processes and stay ahead of the competition.
Gocator 4011 and 4021 models are added to the Gocator 4000 series of intelligent 3D coaxial line confocal sensors, providing high-speed, high-precision, high-resolution, zero-shadow and unobstructed 3D online scanning and detection, with a resolution of 1.9 microns in the X direction, a field of view of 5.0 mm, and a resolution of 0.2 microns in the Z direction. Compatible up to +/-85 degrees. The new Gocator 4011 and 4021 models feature an optimized optical design to eliminate noise and produce superior data quality when inspecting challenging targets such as BGA and wire bonding in the semiconductor industry. The coaxial optical design enables zero-occlusion scanning of simple or complex material surfaces, and provides more accurate measurement results when detecting some target applications, such as steep components, super-curved surfaces and deep grooves, which is very suitable for semiconductor, consumer electronics and EV battery applications.
Gocator 6300 Series is a new smart 3D line laser profile sensor designed by LMI Technologies to achieve the ultimate 2D/3D scanning performance, with more than 6500 points per profile, and the X-direction profile data interval is less than 2.1 microns when the field of view is 13.4 mm. The combination of speed, precision, and scan range for superior inspection in semiconductor, electric vehicle battery, and consumer electronics applications. The Gocator 6300 series line offers a combination of high speed, high accuracy and large field of view to meet the online production cycle, and the high X-direction profile data interval enables accurate measurement in a large field of view. Telecentric parallel light minimizes occlusion and improves the blurring that may be caused by diffuse reflection, optimizing the detection of minor defects and edges. Customized camera lenses with high resolution and high numerical aperture are used to improve the angle compatibility of adaptation, maximize the amount of light collection and obtain the best data quality. A new optical design is used to optimize the straightness of the laser line of the sensor, which greatly optimizes the scanning data of curved surfaces and highlighted targets.
Gocator 5500 sensors deliver high speed, wide coverage line scanning with simultaneous generation of 3D topography, 3D tomography, and 2D intensity data. This allows Gocator 5500 series to scan practically any material type - including multi-layered, transparent/translucent, curved edge, shiny/specular, high-contrast textured, mixed, and many more - with submicron precision, and at a level of quality and speed. Proven Gocator line confocal inspection applications include cell phone display glass, glue bead volume and position (transparent/translucent), medical seal integrity, battery weld seam integrity, semiconductor manufacturing, surface roughness measurement and many more.
The remastered Gocator 2600 Series has been optimized for faster default scan speeds, enhanced data quality, increased scanning versatility, and higher 4K+ resolutions. The new High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode improves scan quality on challenging targets and has been optimized for surface flatness with a pre-processing pipeline to reduce spatial noise. With its large selection of resolution and field of view options to choose from, the Gocator 2600 Series can be used to inspect a wide variety of targets from small parts in EV Battery, Consumer Electronics, and Semiconductor manufacturing, to larger coverage applications in Food Processing, Building Materials, Automotive, Rubber & Tire, and general factory automation.
Designed for high performance parts inspection, Gocator 2500 series 3D smart line profilers achieve inspection rates up to 10 kHz (including scan, measure, and control) and optimized optical design, and blue laser light generate excellent data with highly repeatable results on shiny and other challenging surfaces.
