ASAIR AFD4 Series Vortex Liquid Flow Meter

AFD4 series is a vortex water flow sensor based on the principle of Von Karman vorti-ces. Under certain conditions when a certain volume of fluid flow around the distur-bance column, the disturbance column on both sides of the cycle will form a rotat-ing direction of the opposite direction, the regular arrangement of the double rowsof vortices, the formation of Karman vortex street. The sensor senses the frequencyof the vortex flow through the internal chip, thus measuring the liquid flow throughthe pipeline. The sensor is characterized by long service life, resistance to contami-nation, high accuracy, fast response and no drift, making it ideal for demanding andcost-sensitive OEM applications.
