SPT is a century-old company from Switzerland, the "invisible champion" of core ceramic components for the global medical industry. It uses the world's leading Ceramic Injection Moulding (CIM) process to produce high-volume, high-stability, high-precision ceramic components for high-end medical devices, ceramic brackets for orthodontics and ceramic implants. The main ceramic materials supplied are high-purity alumina, zirconia, zirconia-toughened alumina (ZTA) and alumina-toughened zirconia (ATZ). They are suitable for applications requiring biocompatibility, high hardness, toughness, resistance to high temperatures and pressures, and high dielectric strength.
